Linda-Marie
As a bookseller married to a publisher representative, I enjoy an unlimited supply of books to feed my endless appetite for reads on all subjects, fiction and non-fiction. This month I'm reading Broken for You by Stephanie Kallos for my WILD bookclub. WILD stands for Women in Lively Discussion and we certainly live up to our name. I'm also reading:
Just Kids by Patti Smith
The Middlepause: On Life After Youth by Marina Benjamin Guesswork: A Reckoning with Loss by Martha Cooley
Between Two Skies by Joanne O'Sullivan
Diane
I never read for pleasure growing up and discovered at 20, there was a reason. My brain seemed to pause as I read words and I lost context and momentum. Once I knew what the problem was and had support to change, I discovered a new world, a new way to pass time and escape. Today, I read for pleasure and deeper understanding. I usually have one book on my nightstand, another in my bag, 1-2 on my phone/tablet and every trip to the library seems a delightful indulgence to check out magazines.
By the way, Linda-Marie is the fastest reader I know on the planet. She is my favorite go-to for all book questions.
The Refugees by Viet Thanh Nguyen
Love Anthony by Lisa Genova
